I hope so

Oh wow. I was on an extended blog hiatus. My poor blog was crying out for new posts and I neglected it. Such a bad blogger am I!

So I’m just going to do a bulk post of some recent work and will be back to regular blogging again. I have so many amazing things in the works and I’m excited for the holiday season.

Speaking of the holiday season…it’s not too late to book in for a holiday session. I can only guarantee holiday delivery if your session is booked before November 15th so hurry before you miss out.

CIBC Run for the Cure

I am so happy to announce that I have created a team to take part in the CIBC Run for the Cure to support Breast Cancer research on Sunday, October 4th, 2009.

As a woman and a family member of a Breast Cancer fighter this cause hits home for me. It is my goal to bring awareness and raise money in the hopes of ending this tragic disease that too many women have been afflicted with.

The team name is PAPER DOLLS and if you are interested in JOINING my team contact me!

Sneak Peek | Winnipeg childrens photographer

Last weekend, Nicole and I had the pleasure of photographing this amazing family. I’ve known Miss Casey for years and it was so awesome to see her again and play around with her ridiculously good looking family. Her oldest was a master at negotiating and had me workin’ for just one more picture. Of course it’s completely impossible to say no when he gives you this look below! He could have asked me for ice cream and he would have gotten it. A new toy, I would have bought it. Never to eat his veggies again…well I would have tried my best to talk his momma into that one. But you get the point! I’m such a sucker. lol

A close up of that gorgeous little face! Do you all see what I mean??? I see a future heartbreaker right there!!

Then we had the littlest member of the family and he was so full of energy and had the cutest smiles you could ever ask for. The kind of infectious smiles that just make you all warm and fuzzy on the inside. That boy could run circles around the energizer bunny though. Trust me!! I got in an extra workout that day.

And of course one of Casey. Such a hot mom! I LOVE her coat and her boots were sweet!!

Sneak Peek 3

Last week Nicole and I had the pleasure of photographing this couple who had the sweetest little girl. While talking we discovered we knew a lot of the same people. Funny just how small this world is!!

With the recent cold weather we’ve been having I would have bet money that we would be hard pressed to find any mosquitoes left alive but as the sun started to go down on this absolutely beautiful fall day we were literally swarmed by them. I’m pretty sure every mosquito in Winnipeg followed us to their house. I could have almost cried, especially because the backyard we were presented with was so picturesque and gorgeous. I had 20 different shots in mind on just our first look around. Leave it to the mosquitoes to spoil our fun. We still managed to get some good shots despite them.
