Okay, so I’ve been crazy busy still. I thought the holidays were for relaxing?? I’ve still been crazy stressed and trying to find time to unwind a little. Hopefully tonight will be my chance.
So here’s the latest…
1. Love my new pair of jeans from Swank! Which I’m soooo excited to find out they have a new website. Check it out here. These are a pair of William Rast Stella boot cut jeans. I’m pretty fickle when it comes to my jeans. I tend to live in them, choosing them over just about every other kind of pant so they have to be made really well for me to buy them. As soon as I tried these on at Swank I was sold. I wish I was taller though so I didn’t have to wait to wear them while they are getting hemmed. I’m 5′5. Would an extra 4 inches really have been such a bad thing genetically??
2. I just saw Seven Pounds last night. I didn’t really know a lot about the movie other than Tom Cruises adopted son played Will Smith’s character when he was a boy (thank you Perez for that bit of info). So going in I was a little confused as to the premise of the film. It was a little slow at first but the ending made the whole movie so worth it! Seriously, I was crying at the end and that never happens for me. The love and emotion at the end was so intense and amazing. Definitely garners a 4 paperdolls out of 5 from me. Wow!! Who writes this stuff???

How come when I was in school, time didn’t go by this fast? Before I know it a whole week… month… year has gone by! The only exception to this is WINTER. That seems to drag on FOREVER!! You may have guessed that I’m not exactly a fan of cold weather. I prefer to not be outside more than I have to and I’m pretty sure the day I got my command start installed in my SUV was one of the happiest days of my life. If it weren’t for the cute clothes that winter offers, I’d be in a total hate/hate relationship with that season!
So speaking of clothes, I’ve once again turned to the Gap for my choices of cute outfits. *sigh* I just love the Gap!! Their clothes are pure genius!
I’m totally loving this Mod line for little girls. And this outfit for boys is so major cute!! Notice they both have hats!! lol
Has it already been a week since my last post?? The days seem to be passing so quickly and the busier I get the quicker it goes. Don’t even get me started on how September is right around the corner. Summer should last longer, shouldn’t it?
I walked into Gap the other day and really could have spent some serious cash in there. Their back to school clothes are just adorable this year.

So I’m a little late posting this but I just got home from having an awesome night out with my great friend, Nicole and I got a little side tracked. Today was a ME day. A well deserved break from the craziness that my life has become this summer. So what does a girl like me do on a ME day?? She gets her hair done, of course If you’re looking for an awesome hairstylist, I highly recommend ML over at Rouge Hair Salon. She is totally fabulous and super nice too. Tell her I sent ya!
OK, on to the fashion!!
I’m all about photographing fun, vibrant colours and layers are a definite win this season. We are still seeing the Rock and Roll influence in the kids clothing and it couldn’t be cuter. Below is an outfit from Gap that will bring out the little rocker in your toddler. And a super cute girl’s outfit.
And now for the hot mom’s. Is the boyfriend jean the new skinny jean? There’s a new movement starting in L.A. right now that is giving way to more comfortable and relaxed fashions. Take these Prps boyfriend jeans that Miss Posh Spice herself is sporting. They are the perfect jeans to throw on with your favourite worn in t and head out the door. So are they the replacement for skinny jeans. It’s looking that way but I for one am embracing my skinny jean fetish for a little while longer, though I will have to pick up a pair of these boyfriend jeans to wear when I just feel like lounging.
