Have you been wondering what my new studio looks like?  After a lot of requests to see the space I finally got around to taking a couple pictures of it.

I am absolutely 1000% in love with the space and love that my clients can feel at home there and the kiddos have ample space to run around.

While you’re in my *second home*  hehe  you’ll enjoy complimentary refreshments and get to take home a fabulous cookie from Sweet Impressions a new local bakery that is simply the talk of the town right now.

Dad’s accompanying mama’s-to-be will have the opportunity to relax in the waiting area where they can read Sports Illustrated, Car and Driver, GQ etc while waiting for the mom only part of the session to complete.

All in all this is a unique and spacious option for your session.  I love my clients and want to make your photography experience the best one possible.  You’re the VIP and I strive to provide you with the best this city has to offer!

With the “Giving is Awesome” contest officially closed to nominations, I have some exciting announcements.

STUDIO

1. Last month I began shooting sessions in my NEW STUDIO located in the exchange district downtown.  It’s completely fabulous and spacious.  Gorgeous natural light makes this spot the perfect location to shoot indoors when the weather outside is frightful.  lol  Lots of room for the kiddos to run around and get those beautiful natural shots we all love.  Inquire today about booking your studio session!

PRICING

2. 2010 pricing will be coming into effect in the new year so if you’re wanting to book a session now would be the time to do it in order to lock in the 2009 prices. :)   Contact me asap to reserve your date.  Spring is already filling up!


FRESH FACES CONTEST

3. I’ll be announcing a Fresh Faces contest on December 26th.  I’m looking for the cutest kids in Winnipeg.  Winners will recieve a free session and a complimentary 11×14 print.  Session will take place at my new Studio and must take place in January.  If you think you have the cutest kid…simply email me a snapshot of them with your name and a way to contact you.  Contest will only be open for 1 week and a panel of Judges will pick the winner the day after the contest closes.  I can’t wait to see all the cute kids!! :)

GIVING BACK

4.  Paper doll Photography is committed to giving back through charitable programs and donations.  Starting January 1st I will be donating $5.00 from every session fee to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.  It’s a fantastic way to support a great charity and help to one day end this terrible disease.  By booking with Paper doll you’ll be helping an amazing organization and getting beautiful custom photography for your family!  Now that’s something to feel good about!!

Busy!!!

I feel like I’ve been away from this blog for too long.  Now that the snow is gone and the somewhat ok weather is here (notice I didn’t say gorgeous weather…what is up this year?) I’ve been crazy busy.  Too busy for sneak peeks and too busy for Gossip Friday even.  *sigh*

Here’s a couple recents just to get some pics on here!  New pricing structures will be coming next month along with digital packages.  I think it’s time for an assistant.  lol I still have availability for the summer months and now is the perfect time foliage wise to get some amazing images!

NEWS…Studio, Digital packages, Casting call OH MY!

WOW…is it really the middle of May already???  I can’t believe how fast this year is going by.  Now if only the weather would cooperate and give us some beach worthy temps I’d be a happy girl!  lol  My months are booking up so if you were thinking about getting some custom photography done contact me asap to reserve your date with Winnipeg’s Premier Children’s Photographer!

I have some super exciting news…beginning in JUNE I will be renting an amazing studio location for shoots.  It’s located in the heart of the exchange and features so many amazing options for sessions.  I plan on doing most of my maternity and newborn shoots there and it will be absolutely amazing come winter when getting outside is just impossible!  There is lots of space and options for the kiddies as well.  And being in the exchange we have the option of heading outside for some amazing urban shots as well.  LOVE!!! Check out the pics below.  I’m beyond excited!!

NEWBORN TWINS CASTING CALL:

Next…I’m still on the hunt for any expectant moms having twins in the next 2 months.  I’m offering a complimentary limited session in order to try out some ideas I have.  This will not be a full shoot but if time permits I will do other shots as well.   This shoot must take place within the first week of birth and I will need a signed model release as these images will be used for advertising.  If you are interested please email me for more info!

DIGITAL PACKAGES:

I am in the process of putting together a couple digital packages of images from your session.  This should be ready for June.
